SUBTERRANEAN HOMESICK BLUES

LOVE MINUS ZERO NO LIMIT

OUTLAW BLUES

STUCK OUTSIDE OF MOBILE WITH THE MEMPHIS BLUES AGAIN

Four classic Bob Dylan songs from his most surrealistic period of writing. These were the songs that inspired me to write myself. I play all the instruments but with no edits within tracks. Almost all first takes. Raw, and rough like a bar band!

Recorded as fun side project a few years ago while I learned pro-tools "Twisting Bob" is my tribute to Mr. Dylan. I paid Bob the publishing and pressed a run of a few hundred copies. I've given them to friends for years but never officially sold the disc until now. In my own writing and recording I'm known to spend unbelievable amounts of hours, days, and weeks, in the studio on a single track.

With this recording I made every track a complete take without editing. As I had not learned to digitally edit yet! I was just hitting "RECORD" and firing away with each over-dub. Two guitars, bass, and drums, Raw and rough and all played on classic vintage electric guitars and tube gear. Vocals all in one complete take. The whole thing was finished in a couple of days. My friend Steve Graves was there part of the time to help with guitar tone and "set up." I never intended to actually release this but I keep seeing it show up on rarity web sites that feature Dylan cover material and I thought I would try to sell a few! I still listen to the disc myself. Fun stuff!  GH
