Welcome to a new concept for an artist driven music company. No, I’m NOT starting a record label. I have formed a consulting and management company working with music artists and technology companies in a variety of different ways depending on what they may feel that they need. Services include personal management, marketing advice, music production, and executive producing at my small but high quality studio just outside of Woodstock New York.

I have worked for over thirty years in the music business, most recently as the President of Sony BMG Masterworks and in the past in executive positions at EMI, BMG, Sony Classical, Telarc, and PolyGram Classics. I have worked primarily with classical, Broadway, and jazz labels but my knowledge and love of music extends into virtually every genre. As you can see from my links at the bottom, I also am a musician, songwriter, and producer.

as well as the recent Dodge commercial featuring George Washington attacking the
British while driving a Dodge Challenger. Jay and Molly perform regularly, have their own public radio show and also run the prestigious Ashokan Center for education and the arts. They are perhaps best known for their work on the soundtracks to many Ken Burns documentaries including The Civil War featuring their haunting tune Ashokan Farewell inspired by the Ashokan campus.
ZENPH STUDIOS an amazing technology company founded by John Q. Walker. Zenph recreates historical music performances in a way that has to be heard to be believed. Zenph’s most recent project is the release of the music of Rachmaninoff which follows their astounding “re-performance” of Glenn Gould’s “55” Goldberg Variations and the music of jazz legend Art Tatum - I serve as a consultant and adivsor.
I am currently serving a three year term as an elected member of the council of The American Geographical Society.
